Dr. Alayjah Anderson is a licensed psychologist dedicated to helping individuals of all ages grow, heal, and thrive. She provides individual therapy and parent training using a warm, collaborative approach grounded in evidence-based practices.

 

Although trained to work across the lifespan, Dr. Anderson has extensive experience with school-aged children, supporting their emotional, behavioral, and academic development. She also conducts psychological evaluations and is trained in the ADOS-2 for diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder. Additionally, she provides assessments for ADHD, learning disorders, PTSD, depression, and anxiety.

Dr. Anderson incorporates a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's needs, Including Trauma-Focusing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Positive Psychology. She is trained in TF-CBT and has supportted children and families affected by physical abuse, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. Her experience also includes working with military service members and veterans, offering therapeutic support as they navigate the unique challenges and transitions of military life and the return to civilian life.

Dr. Anderson enjoys working with young adults as they begin college or embark on new careers, helping them manage stress, build confidence, and gain clarity during these pivotal life transitions. She believes her clients already possess the tools they need to succeed. Her role is to help them recognize their strengths, trust in their resilience, and develop new strategies to overcome adversity. together, she and her clients work toward the goals that matter most to them.
